Chef Chris Curren & Megan Curren of O&D Hospitality

Established in 2024 by husband and wife, Chef Chris Curren and Megan Curren, O&D Hospitality sits on a foundation of the duo’s combined decades of experience in Chicago’s world-class hospitality scene. Looking to bring their wealth of industry experience closer to home by investing it into the city’s far western suburbs, Chris and Megan took great care to preserve the charm of a historic St. Charles riverfront property when creating what would be the group’s inaugural endeavor, The Graceful Ordinary in 2021. Since opening doors, the riverfront dining destination, centered around a wood-burning hearth, has been met with both local and national recognition, being featured in The New York Times and selected by Chicago Tribune’s 2023 People’s Choice Food Awards for Best Suburban Restaurant for outstanding service and an elevated menu.

Committed to making a profound impact on the community the restaurants serve, Chris & Megan created O&D Hospitality group in 2024, named in honor of their children Oliver and Delilah. The pair plans to build upon their reputation for authentic, purposeful hospitality with a portfolio of concepts designed to enrich the region’s existing landscape for years to come. As a group, O&D is committed to continuing and expanding upon Chris and Megan’s community investment in hyperlocal charitable initiatives, thoughtful sourcing, restaurant worker aid initiatives, and more.
